Resumption of Operations at Group Company
(Update regarding COVID-19 infections at company facility)

We have resumed operations at Yabuki Precision Jewel Co., Ltd. (Nishi-Shirakawa-gun, Fukushima Prefecture) after a temporary suspension that was put in place to prevent the spread of the COVID-19.
Between August 28 and September 4, a total of nine people at the factory were found to be infected with COVID-19.
By September 4th, Yabuki Precision Jewel Co., Ltd. completed PCR tests of all employees in cooperation with the local health department.
Following the completion of professional disinfection of the work site on September 9, and after implementing further preventative measures to protect employee health and safety and prevent spread of infection, we resumed operations on September 13.
We would like to express our sincere apologies for the concern caused to many, including local residents.
We will continue to give top priority to the health and safety of local residents, customers, suppliers, and all employees, and work to prevent infections and the spread of cases in accordance with government policies and action plans.

This notice is to inform you that eight cases of COVID-19 have occurred at one of our group companies, Yabuki Precision Jewel Co., Ltd., in Fukushima Prefecture.
Operations at Yabuki Precision Jewel Co., Ltd. have been suspended for the health and safety of employees working at the site and to prevent further spread of infection. In addition, in cooperation with the local health department, we are conducting PCR tests for all employees and checking the routes of transmission.
Details, countermeasures, and the timing of reopening the factory are currently under review, and updates will be provided at a later date.
Adamant Namiki and our group companies sincerely apologize for the anxiety and concern that this Covid-19 infections may cause to the public, including local residents and our business partners.
We give top priority to the health and safety and we will continue to work to prevent infections and the spread of cases in accordance with government policies and action plans.
