ORSONIC was first launched in 1978.
At that time, Orbray was the predominant producer of record playback and recording styli in the world.
The market was full of countless audio components such as record players, preamplifiers, main amplifiers, and speakers to try and reduce noise, and to achieve accurate sound reproduction and immersive audio at home.
When records were at their peak in the 1970s, enthusiasts’ increasing demand for the ultimate in soundbrought about the hi-fi boom.
In order to improve audio performance, equipment and accessories such as turntables, tonearms, and coaxial cables to connect components were quickly developed and commercialized. As an expert in the audio field, Orbray launched the ORSONIC brand of accessories to help enthusiasts achieve faithful sound reproduction.
ORSONIC later went dormant in the late 1980s as CDs rose in popularity, ORSONIC went dormant.

But now, in 2020,
with the resurgence of records, ORSONIC has returned.
The goal of the new ORSONIC brand is to create a new 21st century sound by combining 20th century analog with today's cutting-edge technology This means taking full advantage of monocrystal materials such as synthetic diamonds and sapphires, magnetic circuitry materials, and advanced processing technologies such as lasers, all of which Orbray has extensive experience working with.
